In 2022, Endress+Hauser submitted 235 patent applications for inventions for the first time. The company's inventors are honoured at an annual innovators' meeting. Innovation is therefore a top priority, and partnerships also play a role, for example in the area of logistics and the supply chain. A development team was looking for start-ups with a suitable technological solution.
Startup Scouting success story
For Endress+Hauser, collaborating with startups is an opportunity to experience the latest developments on the market at first hand and to strengthen its own innovative power and competitiveness. Endress+Hauser therefore commissioned BadenCampus with startup scouting in order to identify potential startup partners for the company's customers' application scenarios. After jointly analyzing the needs and defining the search field, BadenCampus began its search using an AI-supported web crawler in a global network of potential partners. After an intensive and extensive selection process, Endress+Hauser decided on three start-ups with whom the company discussed specific partnerships in depth.
